Straight answer: ElleVet and Pure Majesty Pets make CBD oils that are built differently, and the label, not the logo, decides which one fits your dog. If you want a CBD + CBDA oil made from isolates, with no intentionally added THC and every cannabinoid listed separately, the oil we recommend is Pure Majesty Pets Vet-Strength CBD Oil for Dogs, with 30 mg CBD + 25 mg CBDA + 5 mg CBG in every mL and a certificate of analysis on every batch. ElleVet states a higher concentration (70 mg/mL of CBD + CBDA) in a complete-spectrum hemp oil, and the dog trials tied to ElleVet used its products, not ours. Below is a side-by-side of what each label says, what the studies did and did not test, and how to switch safely.

If you are still working out how to judge any oil, start with our guide to the best CBD for dogs, which explains labels, evidence and safety testing. This page answers a narrower question many owners search before buying: how does ElleVet compare with the oil we make, and which facts can you actually check on the bottle?

The ElleVet column below comes from the brand's own CBD oil for dogs product page as read on 26 October 2026; we do not link to it, and its figures can change. The Pure Majesty Pets column comes from our current product page. We list no competitor prices, because they change often.
| Label detail | ElleVet CBD oil (per its product page) | Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil |
|---|---|---|
| Type | Complete-spectrum hemp oil with cannabinoids and terpenes | CBD, CBDA and CBG supplied as hemp-derived isolates |
| CBD + CBDA per mL | 70 mg/mL stated as a combined figure; the page FAQ says about 90% of it is CBD and CBDA, the rest other minor cannabinoids | 55 mg/mL (30 mg CBD + 25 mg CBDA), listed separately |
| Other cannabinoids | "Other minor cannabinoids," amounts not itemised on the page | 5 mg/mL CBG (total 60 mg/mL) |
| THC | "Less than 0.3% THC"; no mg per mL on the page | No intentionally added THC; residual THC shown only by the batch COA |
| Other ingredients | MCT oil and organic lecithin | Coconut-derived MCT oil (C8/C10), sunflower lecithin, mixed tocopherols, natural bacon flavour |
| Smell and taste | Page describes a strong smell and taste and suggests capsules to mask it | Natural bacon flavour, designed to mix into food |
| Bottle sizes | 15 mL, 30 mL and 60 mL | 60 mL (3,600 mg total cannabinoids) |
| Batch testing | Certificate of analysis matched to the batch number | Certificate of analysis on every batch |
| Dog trials on this exact product | The page says the oil is the blend used in its clinical trials | None. No published trial has tested our formula |
Honest note: ElleVet's oil is more concentrated per mL, and its maker has funded dog research on its blends. We have no trial of our own. What we can offer is a label that itemises every cannabinoid and a formula without intentionally added THC. That is a different design, not proof of better results.
What the Dog Studies Actually Tested
Two well-known dog trials are often quoted in this comparison. Both disclose ties to ElleVet, and neither used Pure Majesty Pets oil, so their results are not a result for our product.
| Study | Product tested | What it found |
|---|---|---|
| Gamble et al., 2018 (osteoarthritis) | Olive-oil product of about 10 mg/mL, an equal mix of CBD and CBDA, with 0.24 mg/mL THC; funded by an ElleVet grant to Cornell; 2 mg/kg every 12 hours for 4 weeks | Owner pain and activity scores improved versus baseline in 16 dogs that finished; serum ALP rose in 9 of 16 dogs, so the authors suggested monitoring liver enzymes |
| Garcia et al., 2022 (epilepsy) | About 30 mg/mL CBD, 31 mg/mL CBDA and 1.2 mg/mL THC; 2 mg/kg every 12 hours for 12 weeks; the lead author received an ElleVet grant and two authors consult for the company | 14 dogs alongside anti-seizure drugs: 6 of 14 had a 50% or greater drop in seizures on CBD/CBDA versus 0 of 14 on placebo |
Two things follow. First, the products in these trials contained THC, from 0.24 to 1.2 mg/mL, while our formula uses isolates with no intentionally added THC, so the exact effects of the studied oils cannot be assumed for ours. Second, the useful takeaway for any oil is the dose logic: both trials gave about 2 mg/kg twice daily, and both reported monitoring. Our guides on CBD for dog seizures and CBDA for dogs go through the trials and their limits in detail.
Isolate or Complete Spectrum: What Actually Differs
- THC. Dogs are sensitive to THC, and a complete-spectrum label that says "less than 0.3%" does not tell you milligrams per mL. Our full spectrum vs isolate CBD guide shows how to turn a percentage into a number and why only the batch COA settles it.
- Itemised cannabinoids. Pure Majesty Pets lists CBD, CBDA and CBG separately. A combined "CBD + CBDA" figure means you need the COA to see the split.
- Proven order of results. The dog studies reviewed do not establish that complete-spectrum oil beats isolate oil, or the reverse, for comfort outcomes. We make no efficacy claim for CBG.
- Taste. A strong-tasting oil is harder to give; a bacon-flavoured one mixes into a small portion of food that your dog will finish.
Prefer an oil with every cannabinoid itemised?
30 mg CBD, 25 mg CBDA and 5 mg CBG in every mL, measured with food, no intentionally added THC, and a batch COA you can bring to your appointment.

Switching Between the Two Oils Safely
- Do not copy the old volume. At 70 mg/mL and 60 mg/mL, the same number of mL carries a different amount of cannabinoid. Use the chart below as a starting reference for our oil, and have your veterinarian confirm it.
- Tell your vet about the change, especially if your dog takes arthritis medicine or other prescriptions. Our guide to dog arthritis medicine lists the common ones, and is CBD safe for dogs covers side effects and the liver enzyme ALP.
- Stop the old oil before starting the new one. Never give both together.
- Start low, with food, and keep a daily log of appetite, energy, walking and stools.
- Never swap a prescribed pain medicine for an oil. See what you can give a dog for pain for what is safe.
In India, cannabis-derived products are regulated, and some brands sell their pet CBD oils on veterinary prescription only — talk to your vet before you start.
Pure Majesty Pets Oil: Amount and Cost by Dog Weight
Here is the 2 mg/kg twice-daily reference used in the dog studies, worked out for Pure Majesty Pets CBD Oil at 60 mg of total cannabinoids per mL. It is a starting point for the conversation with your vet, who sets the actual amount and may go lower. The full chart and first-week plan are in our CBD dosage chart for dogs.
| Dog weight | mL per dose (twice daily) | Cost per day |
|---|---|---|
| 4.5 kg (10 lb) | 0.15 mL | ₹16.00 |
| 10 kg (22 lb) | 0.33 mL | ₹35.56 |
| 25 kg (55 lb) | 0.83 mL | ₹88.89 |
| 36 kg (80 lb) | 1.2 mL | ₹128.00 |
| 50 kg (110 lb) | 1.67 mL | ₹177.78 |
At ₹3,200 for 60 mL with free shipping, duties and taxes included, that works out to about ₹96.97 per 100 mg of CBD + CBDA, so you can run the same sum on any other bottle: price divided by total mg of CBD + CBDA. A bottle lasts about 90 days for a 10 kg (22 lb) dog and about 36 days for a 25 kg (55 lb) dog. Measure with a 1 mL oral syringe and mix into a small portion of food.
Pure Majesty Pets also makes liquid collagen for dogs and hip and joint chews for dogs; ask your veterinarian before combining products.
Why Pure Majesty Pets CBD Oil Fits Owners Comparing Labels
- Every cannabinoid listed separately: 30 mg CBD, 25 mg CBDA and 5 mg CBG per mL, so you and your vet can see exactly what is in each dose.
- No intentionally added THC. The formula is made from isolates; the batch COA shows residual THC.
- A certificate of analysis on every batch for cannabinoids, THC and contaminants.
- 60 mg/mL in a 60 mL bottle (3,600 mg), so a study-reference amount is a small, measurable volume.
- Simple ingredients and a flavour dogs accept: coconut-derived MCT oil, sunflower lecithin, mixed tocopherols and natural bacon flavour, with no xylitol and no added water or glycerin.
- About ₹35.56 a day for a 10 kg (22 lb) dog, made in North America under GMP standards, with free shipping, duties and taxes included.
Our formula has not been tested in a clinical trial, and the studies above used other products. If your vet agrees, see Pure Majesty Pets CBD Oil for Dogs →
Red Flags When Comparing Any Two CBD Oils
- A label with no mg per mL, or only one combined "total" with no split between cannabinoids.
- A THC claim in percent only, with no batch COA showing mg per mL.
- A COA that does not match the batch number on your bottle.
- Study results quoted for a different product. A trial of one oil is not evidence for another; this applies to us too.
- Wording that promises results: no CBD product is an approved veterinary medicine for use in dogs, and none should promise to treat a condition.
- Human products or edibles, which can contain xylitol or THC at levels unsafe for dogs.
The Bottom Line
ElleVet and Pure Majesty Pets oils are two different designs: a more concentrated complete-spectrum extract with research ties, and an isolate-based oil with itemised cannabinoids, no intentionally added THC and a bacon flavour dogs take with food. No head-to-head trial exists, so choose on what you can verify: mg per mL, THC on the batch COA, ingredients and cost per mg, and check the choice with your vet.
If you want every cannabinoid itemised and a COA on every batch, Pure Majesty Pets Vet-Strength CBD Oil for Dogs gives you 30 mg CBD and 25 mg CBDA in every mL for under ₹100 a day for most dogs.

Is ElleVet CBD oil the same as Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil?
No. ElleVet describes a complete-spectrum hemp oil at 70 mg/mL of CBD + CBDA with other minor cannabinoids and less than 0.3% THC. Pure Majesty Pets Vet-Strength CBD Oil is made from hemp-derived isolates: 30 mg CBD, 25 mg CBDA and 5 mg CBG per mL, with no intentionally added THC.
Which oil has more CBD per mL?
On the labels, ElleVet states 70 mg/mL of CBD + CBDA combined, and Pure Majesty Pets lists 55 mg/mL of CBD + CBDA (30 mg CBD and 25 mg CBDA) plus 5 mg/mL CBG. ElleVet's figure is higher per mL, so the volumes per dose are not interchangeable. Compare cost per mg using current prices.
Does Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil contain THC?
The formula uses isolated CBD, CBDA and CBG with no intentionally added THC. Only the finished-batch certificate of analysis shows residual THC, so ask for the batch COA. ElleVet's page states less than 0.3% THC without a mg per mL figure.
Were the published dog studies done with the Pure Majesty Pets oil?
No. The two dog trials discussed here used CBD and CBDA products tied to ElleVet, and their authors disclosed funding or consulting links to that company. No published trial has tested the Pure Majesty Pets formula, so their results cannot be attributed to our oil.
Can I switch my dog from ElleVet to Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil at the same volume?
No. The concentrations differ, so the same number of mL delivers a different amount of cannabinoid. Ask your veterinarian to set the new amount, start from the Pure Majesty Pets mL chart rather than your old volume, and never give both oils together.
Is an isolate-based oil weaker than a complete-spectrum oil?
Not on current evidence. The dog studies we reviewed do not establish a proven order between isolate, broad-spectrum and complete-spectrum oils for comfort outcomes. What differs is what else is in the bottle, including THC, so the batch COA matters more than the label type.
How much does Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil cost per day?
At ₹3,200 for 60 mL with free shipping, duties and taxes included, a study-reference amount of about 2 mg/kg twice daily costs about ₹35.56 a day for a 10 kg (22 lb) dog and ₹88.89 a day for a 25 kg (55 lb) dog. Your veterinarian sets the actual amount, which may be lower.
Can I use ElleVet and Pure Majesty Pets CBD oil together?
There is no reason to. Using two cannabinoid oils at once makes the total amount hard to track and raises the chance of side effects such as loose stools or drowsiness. Choose one, agree the amount with your vet and keep a daily log.
